The KaiRo International Group is a dynamic team of international gaming resort executives with offices in Gibraltar, Tanzania and Vietnam. The company has a well established track record throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The directors, all ex Sun International, met in Southern Africa during the early Holiday Inns / Sun International gaming boom of the 70's and 80's.
In the early 90's, the company owned and managed casinos in the highly respected TGI group comprising of 9 operations in Turkey including the country's premier casinos in the Hilton Hotel chain viz. Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Mersin. KaiRo also owned and managed the prestigious Kempinski Ciragan Palace Casino in Istanbul and two further casino operations in the Koc Holding's group of hotels. In 1996 KaiRo sold its Turkish interests.
The group, together with local gaming authorities, has been influential in the creation of legalised frameworks for the gaming industry. KaiRo holds approved gaming licences and has completed probity checks in numerous jurisdictions worldwide.
KaiRo International works with a strict set of company procedures which are adapted to local regulations. It has "in-house" systems, developed over many years, which are being constantly improved and updated as technology changes.
The company currently operates casinos, electronic gaming rooms and online sports betting. More than 300 staff are directly employed with an additional 100 outsourced. The group has successfully completed 20 projects worldwide with current land based operations in Tanzania, Malawi and Ghana.
KaiRo International has a joint venture partnership with Ladbrokes for the African continent and Indian Ocean Islands, promoting and marketing Ladbrokes.com on-line betting. In addition, KaiRo operates Ladbrokes sports betting on a land based system where applicable and approved.
The group is currently pursuing new ventures in South-East Asia and has opened a regional office in Hanoi, Vietnam.
